ABOUT: ME

I'm Micah (or whatever name you know me as, call me as whatever really) a 19 year old artist, "character designer", and writer.I love cute character series like Sanrio (Kuromi♡My Melody), Chiikawa (Momonga♡Kani♡Rakko), Cookie Run (too many to list..) and others! I love love LOOOOVE horror media (games, VNS, etc) and my favorite subgenres is psychological horror and dark romance! Ask me about any of these and I'll ramble until my voice dies...

ABOUT: MY (ART)WORK

I draw OC (original character) and fandom content! I like many many many cartoons, anime, manga/manwha, games and visual novels, and draw them very often! The one's you'll see most often on this account are CookieRun, Chiikawa, Sanrio, and Honkai/Genshin.I do not identify with or use fandom labels: "proship", "anti", etc, to describe myself/my work, nor do I care to be involved in related discourse. What I draw/depict in my work stays strictly within fiction and does not reflect my morals, ethics, or views as a person. If you find my artwork upsetting, I encourage you to block or mute me for your own comfort.

I'm well aware that DNIs do not work as intended. Take this as more of a kind of non-exhaustive "I will ignore/block you" criteria.

  • Under 16 years of age, mutuals exempt. Account is not suggestive or NSFW, just preferred demographic.

  • Engage constantly in any type of discourse, feed into drama/back-and-forth discussions.

  • Encourage or partake in harassment or censorship over any creative works.

TERMS OF SERVICE

[GENERAL]

  • By commissioning me you give me the artistic freedom to interpret the information given to me freely whilst following and respecting your request/specifics.

  • I do not work with deadlines whatsoever, under any circumstance.

  • Refunds are not accepted after a sketch has been sent and approved unless you ordered any of the following commission types: chibi, ych, or sketch.

  • I reserve the right to refuse, refund, or cancel commissions at my sole discretion, with or without reason.

[APPLICATIONS/SLOTS]

  • To request a commission, message me through Twitter or Discord (meowmerro).

  • Submitting an application for a commission does not guarantee acceptance.

  • Additional commission requests that exceed the number of slots I am able to take on at one time will be added to a waitlist, to be started once the previous batch has been completed.

[WORKFLOW + SCHEDULE]

  • I work on my queue and communicate with clients Monday through Friday from 12pm to 4pm EST. Inquiries sent outside of these times will not be read/answered until the following business day.

  • You can keep track of progress on your commission, through my Trello, or ask for updates via DMs.

  • Please note that at the moment, my queue is rather large. Due to this and other struggles in my personal life (compromised physical and mental heatlh), I am rather slow with updates/delivery and may take several weeks, likely several months, up to a year to finish a piece. I am prone to forgetfulness due to my health and may need a few reminders/check-ins every now and then. Take this into heavy, thoughtful consideraton before you commission me.

[PROCESS]

  • After I finish sketching, I will send a screenshot of what I have and request your approval. This is your time to let me know of possible mistakes I may have made, and request changes. I will not send another screenshot until after I have lined and colored the piece.

  • After coloring has been finished, I will send a screenshot of the lined and colored piece, and request approval to start shading. Revisions made before completion of the commission are free. Large changes that require me to heavily alter large portions of the piece after or near completion are subject to fees.

  • After shading and rendering, I will watermark the piece and deliver the finished product via email.

  • After 48 hours, the PSD file of the completed commission will be deleted from my device. At that point, I will be unable to make any post-completion edits.

[PAYMENT]

  • I accept payment only through the following methods, PayPal (invoice/goods and services), Ko-fi, or Cashapp.

  • All payments are in USD, please check online for conversion rates if your currency differs.

  • Payments are to be sent either upfront, or after a sketch has been sent and approved.

[EXTRA]

  • My style is inconsistent, and given how long an illustration takes me on average, the completed piece will likely differ from the sketch, please keep this in mind when commissioning me!

[TERMS OF USE + BOUNDARIES]

  • My work is for personal use only, meaning icons, headers, digital wallpapers etc. I do not allow my work to be used for commercial purposes unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • Do not submit any of my work, personal or commissioned, to an AI program or software for any reason. This will result in a permanent blacklist. This also applies to submitting my work to be minted for usage as an NFT.

  • You, as the client, have my explicit permission to edit any artwork you commissioned from me. All I ask is that my watermark is kept visible. If you repost my work (as the client) please credit me.

  • If you wish for me to not post or stream/record the progress of your commission publicly, please let me know this when inquiring. Note that this entails a 50% NDA fee.

ARTWORK FAQ

  • Can I use your art as PFP? You may use any/all artwork as an icon, wallpaper, or background, excluding commissioned artwork unless you commissioned it. All I ask is that you credit me!

  • Can I draw your characters? Yes, I greatly appreciate any fanart I receive, please just refrain from drawing NSFW or suggestive content of any of my characters. If you choose to disregard this boundary and do so anyway, I advise you keep it to yourself.

  • Are your commissions open? My commissions are open randomly whenever I find the opportunity to do them. You may look for random one-off (either YCH or sketch) commission slot annoucements on my twitter.

  • Can I DM you? Yes, but you'll likely be ignored if your message is not business-related or something urgent.

  • Can we art trade? I am not open to art trades for anyone other than mutuals and friends.
